Eaton is looking for an experienced Electronics developer -Hardware to develop innovative solutions for our Industrial Controls and Protection Division at the Eaton European Innovation Centre in Roztoky (EEIC), Czech Republic.
In this role the person will be responsible for driving new technology research, participating in computer simulation, design and development, and further comprehensive testing of electronics devices, with a focus on industrial automation technologies.

The individual will be a member of the team with focus on motor starter, relay, contactors.What you’ll do:
- Lead electronics design and development activities and demonstrate start-finish ownership for the assigned project
- Supervise and participate in performing computer simulation and design of electronics, including analog and digital circuitries; building prototypes, conducting electrical, thermal and lifetime tests, analyzing data to improve/optimize the design in terms of performance, size, cost, manufacturability, and reliability
- Create technical reports and presentations
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams and external partners to successfully develop and validate the design
Qualifications:
- Background in electrical engineering or equivalent
- Proven experience in in electronics engineering work
- Proven hands-on experience with electronics devices development
- Solid knowledge of analogy and digital design, communications, microcontrollers, power supplies, protection components (varistors, transient voltage suppressors)
- Ability to learn new technology, products and industry
- Competence in writing reports and technical documentation
- Good spoken English capabilities
- Driving licence
